What did you carve?

We carved pumkins over at Rayette's house on Saturday night.

Kevin (almost 13) wanted to do something he designed. Here is his creation.



And here is Erik's (8 year old, so it's pretty obvious that I did all the carving). He scooped out all the guts and picked the design though.

Wow Jon, the last one looks like Jim Morrison --- spooky. Did you do this 'free hand' or did you have some sort of stencil-like thing to go by? I find these amazing! You should sell them this time of year. I bet people would really go for these. I see them all over the farm markets where I live. They even have contests.

You guys are very talented!! :)

It was a template that you poke holes through then just connect the dots. This was one of the easy ones. I was hoping Erik would do some of the carving, but he lost interest after scooping out all of the muck. Maybe I should have nade him to it, but I didn't want to be working on it all night.
